MOD Pizza

We are so excited about our new partnership with MOD Pizza in the Portland and Boise metropolitan areas. MOD Pizza looks at itself not as a pizza place, but as a people place, and prides itself on employing those who are often overlooked and face real barriers to employment.

By providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), people formerly incarcerated, Opportunity Youth (those between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not in school and not employed), and those who have struggled with homelessness or are recovering from addiction, MOD strives every day to foster a sense of opportunity and belonging. We are excited to help those interested in food industry employment to become members of the MOD Squad.

Rite Aid

Meadowlark has a had a long-standing relationship with the Rite Aid Distribution Center in Wilsonville, Oregon. We have developed this partnership since 2001, with not only temporary services but a small group. Our partnership with a small group ended as the pandemic began but in the past few months, they have reached out to us to develop not only a small group, but also to find direct hire candidates. They truly as a company miss the clients we had in our small group, and would love to have others join the Rite Aid family. They are committed to supporting and integrating clients as soon as there are clients who are interested in working at Rite Aid Wilsonville. They are also open to some adjustments to schedules as they are aware of the transportation challenges.

Rite Aid is hiring for 3 positions: Picking, Dayside Replenishment and Tote Cleaning. These are 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, at $16.50 per hour. They are also looking for anyone who has a forklift certification or is interested in forklift certification, which bumps the wage to $18.50 per hour.
