Christina Robideau, Senior Job Developer

A native of Portland, Christina was diagnosed with a permanent visual disability in 2006. Christina came to Meadowlark (then under the umbrella of DePaul Industries) in search of a job, since it specialized in employing individuals with disabilities. Christina began working at DePaul’s packaging facility, first on the production line before working her way up to production lead.

Christina showed a knack for leadership and began working as a job coach, where she enjoyed mentoring employees and learning new skills to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to retain employment. Christina’s next mission was to become a Job Developer and place people with disabilities directly into jobs in the community. This is where Christina has found her calling, and she strives to help employ more and more people every day. Christina has overcome her own barriers to employment and has found great meaning in helping others to do the same.
